The Planetarium

We recently spent a Saturday playing at the Clark Planetarium. We had a blast!

Kaitlyn and Mom on Mars.

Check me out I am on the moon!

How do my feet measure up?

Kaitlyn had a lot of fun playing at the contraption that moves the balls all over the planetarium. It was so much fun playing and spending time together.

Balloon Fun!

Kevin and Kaitlyn are always making up new games to play. Silly games like the frown game, tickle torture, hang by the nails torture, one arm and one leg, and many more. Most of the games have names and they play them all of the time. This game didn't end up with a name, but all that they needed to play it was an almost flat Valentines day balloon. Instead of hitting the balloon up into the air with their hands they crawled around on their knees and blew the balloon up into the air. The goal was to not let it touch the ground. While they played I took pictures. Kevin and Kaitlyn are the best of friends and always have so much fun playing together.

Love That Dog!

Kaitlyn and the kids I watch love the dog. Sadie is a good sport and lets them climb on her and pull her hair. There are many days I wish I didn't have a dog, but days like this one are not one of them. She is so much fun with the kiddos, and Kaitlyn sure loves her.

What an Artist!

Kaitlyn is a great artist. She loves to draw more than anything else and she is getting pretty good at it. I took a few pictures of some of her recent pictures and here they are.

This is an ant in the dirt

These are Kaitlyn's drawings of Arthur and DW from the cartoon Arthur

Family portrait including her cousin Morgan, labeled with names. I believe the thing on the left is an umbrella. I am not sure why it belongs with the family portrait, but it sure is nice.

Starting at the top right there is a butterfly, a strawberry, a fish, and a dog.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Kaitlyn really knows how to watch Saturday morning cartoons in style. I walked in to find she had turned this box into her chair. It looks nice and cozy. Eventually she ended up all the way in the box with it all closed up while her dad pushed her up and down the hall. I didn't get pictures of that, but they had a lot of fun. She also had a lot of fun jumping out of the box and yelling BOO!

KAITLYN YOGA

January 14 was my Girl Scout Reunion. I know that sounds a little bit crazy. I was a girl scout for about 10 years growing up. I spent most of that time with the same group of girls. We were a Girl Scout troop until we were 16 - 17 years old. We ended our actual troop by working at the Buzz games to make money, and then we all went on a cruise together. We weren't your average Girl Scouts. We are all very different and we are all great friends. Now a days, aside from Facebook, we usually only see each other this one night of the year, but as soon as we are together it is like we talk every day. I love spending this one night of the year with these girls they are all fantastic.
